Samabula Mosque
Collections were made in access of a million dollars to construct Samabula Masjid where a bill of quantity totaled $600,000.00 to complete, constituting a net loss of $400,000.00, you can see yourself that the account balance is hardly $2,000.00 and the masjid has been only three quarters finished with hardly any of the finishing’s promised.
Dawah Account
You can see there is a balance of $124,000.00 and they are utilizing this money to pay other unrelated issues and not a single penny is spent on Dawah. Again this is reflected by the financial records that they do not have a plan or method to spend on dawah work.
FML Apeal Fund
There is a balance of over $200,000.00 in the account; this money has been sent by members all over the world for hurricane and flood relief appeal. The last flood and hurricane was about two years ago and our Muslim brothers and sisters have struggled to resume normal life and this money was never distributed to them. If you see the cash flow there are only 12 accounts represented and Samabula shopping complex account cannot be seen and there may be many more of which we may never know. Also if you go into the last 10 years financial account FML appeal fund has not been included at all. Respected brother Abdul Hakim is one of the members of FML management and he is also associated with the firm who audits FML accounts so one can evaluate the credibility of the audited accounts.
Samabula Shopping Complex
Bill of quantity was of 1.4 million dollars, but Hafiz Khan awarded the tender to working committee member of the time and his close relative for $2.4 million dollars. FML paid almost 1 million dollars more than the cost, we took this matter to court and with the help of some munafiq members of FML and the false declaration of brother Subhan of Nasinu Muslim League we could not obtain a court order to stop construction and on the following council meeting Hafiz Khan moved a motion to suspend the members of Nasinu Muslim League who took him to court on the above issue and the said council meeting was at Varavu where he gets support. The council meeting was chaired by brother Afzal Khan where he managed to control the situation but we had no other option but to withdraw the court action due to threat of suspension and lack of support because the mentality in the council meeting is if you stand against the regime you are out. We had to decide whether we wanted to serve as a official of Nasinu Branch League or to be suspended by Hafiz Khan. If we would have not withdrawn the case then we would have been suspended and many other issues of Nasinu Branch League would have still been pending. One off the major issues was to get Nasinu Branch League out of mortgage.
Islamic Institute of the South Pacific
This institute project was totally funded by a foreign Islamic Institute and funds for running it were also provided. Scholarship funds were also funded so basically this whole initiate was not from the Muslim League’s member’s funds. Prior to the current corrupt President Hafiz Khan this institute was functioning well financially but as you know Allah SWT gives no success to people who sell Pork and Alcohol for a living. Same happened here Hafiz Khan steered the institute to a total bankruptcy. When the university was closed then Hafiz Khan went ahead and made deal with a non-Muslim group in Fiji to lease the property but after it came on the newspaper Nasinu Branch immediately acted on Hafiz Khan making him reverse the deal. Today the University is closed and officially bankrupt by its members and Hafiz Khan again falsified and moved a motion at a Council meeting that a Madrasa would be established and financially needy boys would be assisted. But the fact remains that it is a total wastage of Zakaat funds.
Again as you can see in the financials you will not find the accounts for IISP, why they are hiding this is best known to Hafiz Khan.
Duty free vehicle imported by Nasinu Branch.
A fifteen seater vehicle was imported by Nasinu Branch League to specifically promote dawaah and support tableegh. The vehicle was totally funded by Nasinu Branch Members and one member from Suva Branch. Allegations were made on Nasinu Branch League and the investigation team leader, another very unreliable and heavily corrupted member Faiyaz Koya was leading the investigation. Faiyaz Koya never investigated Nasinu Branch at all as the investigation never existed but on a council meeting in Magania Masjid Nadi Faiyaz Koya blatantly lied and presented a investigation report. We objected in the council but his loving brother the most corrupt and unconstitutionally elected speaker of FML Faizal Koya refused to allow Nasinu Branch League to present its defence leaving Nasinu Branch members no other options but to resign.
Going back to the vehicle issue, the vehicle belongs to Nasinu Branch and its members but unfortunately it is being misused by Hafiz Khan to date and the purpose of tableegh and dawah was defeated again.

See yourself that FML head office account runs on overdraft and interest which is Haraam in spite collecting $300,000.00 + in rental revenues and they spend the entire collection plus borrowing from bank on Overdraft on wages, telephone, overseas and local traveling.
